Use “Deviation Viewer” in Mech-MSR
Prerequisites
When the Measure Surface Deviation Step is used in a vision project, you need to use the Deviation Viewer to view and calculate the deviation results.
In the parameter configuration panel of this Step, click the Deviation Calculation Result button under Open the viewer to open the Deviation Viewer window.
| Before opening the window, please make sure that you have specified the model file and JSON file paths in the parameter configuration area for Measure Surface Deviation. Otherwise, the deviation between the surface data and the model cannot be calculated. |
Workflow

In the Folder List in the upper left corner of the tool,you can rename the default folder or click + New to create a new folder to store the configuration data and calculation results.
After selecting a file, you can Rename or Delete a folder via the right-click menu. -
On the toolbar, click the Circle ROI Tool icon
. Then, click and hold the left mouse button in the drawing area, drag the crosshair to create a circle ROI, and release the button to complete the drawing. You can draw multiple ROIs at a time. -
Adjust the Circle ROI. You can adjust the size and position of the circle ROI in the following ways:

On the toolbar, click the Select Tool icon
. Then, click the ROI that you want to adjust, and anchor points will appear on the edge of the ROI.-
Press and hold the left mouse button and drag the ROI to change its location, during which
turns into 
. Release the left mouse button to finish the move. -
Place the cursor over the anchor point, and when the cursor is displayed as
, press and hold the left mouse button and drag the anchor point to change the shape or size of the ROI. Release the left mouse button to finish.

In the parameter panel on the right of the window, adjust the parameters under ROI Settings to precisely adjust the size and position of the ROI circle.

Check the deviation of the ROI. The deviation value will be displayed directly below the ROI each time the ROI is drawn.

After drawing and adjusting, click the Save button in the lower-right corner of the interface to save the relevant data.
After that, you can close the window. Select the Measure Surface Deviation Step, select the saved data folder under Deviation Calculation Result in the parameter configuration panel, and then run the Step to obtain the Feature Points and Deviation results.
