Symptom

When you continuously scanned the target object (setting the data acquisition method to Nonstop and using the "Acquire continuously" button continuous cap), the two consecutive intensity images or depth maps were not continuous, and a warning popped up in the lower right corner, indicating the data was not continuous.

Possible Causes

The scan rate of the laser profiler exceeds the data acquisition rate of the client.

Solutions

Please try the following solutions based on the actual situation:

  1. Check the network connection.

  2. Adjust the following parameters to reduce the amount of data to be processed:

Ensure that the adjustment do not affect the data quality.

    • Decrease the rate at which scanning is triggered.

      • When scanning is triggered at a fixed rate: Decrease the trigger rate in Scan Mode.

      • When scanning is triggered by an encoder: Decrease Trigger Signal Counting Mode or increase Trigger Interval in the Scan mode. For details, refer to the Trigger Rate of the Encoder.

    • Decrease X-Axis Width of ROI in the Profile mode.

    • Increase X-axis resolution in the Profile mode.
