Chapter 1: Measurement Project Configuration

This chapter describes how to create and configure a Mech-Metrics measurement project.

  • A Mech-Metrics project is created in Mech-Metrics to manage and maintain an inline measurement project. With a complete set of measurement configurations, the Mech-Metrics project provides end-to-end measurement process management from part import, reference frame establishment, and measurement item configuration to data collection and analysis.

  • A Mech-Metrics measurement project is the same as a Mech-Metrics project. The two words can be used interchangeably.
