What is the Relationship Between Mech-Metrics, Mech-Vision, and the Robot?

Connection among the three:

  • The robot establishes a connection with Mech-Vision.

  • Mech-Vision establishes a connection with Mech-Metrics.

Usage process of the three:

  1. The robot runs the measurement program, which triggers Mech-Metrics to operate.

  2. Mech-Metrics uses Mech-Vision for measurement.

  3. Mech-Vision returns the measurement data to Mech-Metrics.

  4. Mech-Metrics sends the measurement result (OK or NG) back to the robot.

Does One Mech-Metrics Project Correspond to One Mech-Vision Solution?

No. One Mech-Metrics part corresponds to one Mech-Vision solution. The correspondence between Mech-Metrics resources and Mech-Vision resources is shown in the figure below:

Does Mech-Metrics Support Using Multiple Robots for Measurement Simultaneously?

Yes, Mech-Metrics supports simultaneous measurement with multiple robots. For example, two robots can measure opposite sides of a part simultaneously to improve efficiency.
